- Specials Ahinsa tea was first produced in 1999 and is a passionate project of the founder. In Sanskrit the name means non-violent and so the tea is produced here in harmony with the surrounding nature. Orange Pekoe 1 is one of the most carefully produced leaf grades, made only from the first two leaves of the tea plant.
