- Specials Singtom was founded in 1854 by Joachim Stölke and thus today represents a sister garden to Steinthal. In 1862, the garden manager's bungalow was opened, which was also made public to the first travellers as early as 1864. This laid the groundwork for the very first Tea Estate Resort. Singtom, from 'Singtam', means 'the house of lions'. Today, the estate is family-owned.
