- Specials Colombia's unique soil conditions, climate and topography are the main factors responsible for the fruity-sweet aroma of Emerald Green. This is supported by a complex, three-stage drying process. The first drying is very short but at a high temperature to bring out the fruity notes and preserve the fresh green colour. After the leaves have been rolled, the two additional dryings take place at low temperatures. Theyseal the essential oils in the leaf so that they can fully unfold when infused.
