- Specials The Nuxalbari Tea Estate has been in existence since 1841, located at the foothills of the Darjeeling Mountains in the fertile Terai lowlands. It has been run by the women of the Jabbar family for three generations. Nuxalbari is unique in Terai – worker participation and cultivation according to the principles of biodiversity are given high priority. The production of handmade specialities is also a real exception. This Oolong pays tribute to the elephants whose route runs through the garden and who have found refuge here.
