- Specials The Kaneroku Matsumoto Farm has been in existence since 1870. They cultivate tea using traditional methods, with green, black and Oolong teas forming the foundation of the tea farm. In order to develop further, they sought new opportunities and became the first company in Japan to smoke black tea. Very successfully, in our opinion. Smoked over wood chips from whisky barrels, the leaves of the Yabukita cultivar are infused with a strong aroma that is both smoky and sweet and cannot be found anywhere else.
